What would you all think about making a 64 team march madness style bracket and voting for the Music Board's Best band/artist of all time while we are all cooped up with nothing to do?
Inspired by iwyLSUiwy's one he does on the M/TV board.
If y'all are interested, drop your nominations below and I will do seeding based on the amount of votes each band/artist gets and go from there.
I know this is one of the more quiet boards, but I'm sure we can rally enough people to get this thing rolling.
I'll throw some in there:
Rolling Stones
Zep
RHCP
Pearl Jam
Grateful Dead
WSP
Green Day
Tame Impala
Petty
Skynard
Foo Fighters
Nirvana
Blink 182
Audioslave (anything Cornell really)
Eagles
CCR
Talking Heads
The Who
Pink Floyd
The Strokes
The Clash
The Ramones
Alleman Brothers
Johnny Cash
Queens of the Stone Age
Linkin Park
Glass Animals
The Tragically Hip
The Band
Aerosmith
BB King
Stevie Ray Vaughn

Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin are my Top 2. I'd also like to nominate The Animals.

I really don’t think people understand how truly underrated he is as a musician. From SYL to DTP to today, dude is a fricking monster. Not GOAT though.

I’m not including solo artists and in no order;
Zep
Pink F
Stones
Metallica (it’s true)
RHCP (They’re polarizing but Frusciante is a fricking monster and Flea might be tGOAT bassist)
TOOL (If we look at pure musical talent, thought in their music, and ignore the “history of rock” part of it, TOOL is hands down tGOAT)
Pantera (Dimebag fricking shreds)
Pearl Jam (They’re in there; albeit Soundgarden,AIC, Nirvana could all be interchanged)
Van Halen
