The last two AA albums have been great. Way better than the first few.

Agree, to disagree

I do find myself not enjoying most newer releases as much as the old stuff of almost all musicians I listen to. I guess I’m just getting old.

Last time I saw them was last summer at Whitewater Amphitheater when they opened for REK. Hell of a show, per usual. It’s still wild to me how many people don’t know who they are.

Yeah, I’m not sure why they’re not more well known.

Sufjan Stevens has a strong case.

I didn’t realize Brock was only 44, but that’s a great choice.

Yeah, Modest Mouse is definitely a top 5 band all-time for me. Dylan is definitely the best lyricist ever in my book, but Brock isn’t too far behind.

I agree with Jim James and Jack White.

I would add Isaac Brock as well. I don't typically focus on lyrics, but his music has me looking up the lyrics all the time. I also love the many different layers of his voice on the albums.

They are a top 5 for me too

I hate the way his songs sound so much that I cannot pay attention to the writing.

Most of my top choices are noted already, but I think Brent Cobb deserves some recognition as well.

He did nightly 'shows' on StageIt last week and last night did a fantastic Instagram live.
