You should check out Ruston Kelly for sure. And if you're into TT and AA, Lucero should be on your radar as well.
Apart from Me - Magpie and the Dandelion album

Overseas is my favorite. He has been playing it for nearly a year at shows and when the time came to record in studio it was done in one take and was perfected.
BJ knocked it out of the park with Lamentations.

St. Peter's Autograph was written in regards to Neal Casal.
He did nightly 'shows' on StageIt last week and last night did a fantastic Instagram live.

I've seen him several times, most recently at Duling Hall in Jackson. The kid is so insanely talented. He played fast and furiously for nearly 2.5 hours. I was exhausted just watching him. I wouldn't miss him when he comes back around Jazz Fest with Marcus King.
The show was great, but some of the fans- not so much. The amount of talking was unreal. Also, the number of people who had phones up and recorded the entire show was a bit much. I'm vertically challenged and was forced to see much of the show through the screens of those who chose to record it vs actually watch and enjoy it live.
I was there and this was one of the best festivals I've ever been too. Huge JI fan. Looking forward to next year.
