Modern musicianship that actually blows your mind

Is there a modern musician that actually impresses you with their abilities?
I think the most impressed I've been is with Gary Clark Jr and Danny Carey but my knowledge and skill doesn't lend itself to be able to truly recognize genius.
Is there anyone that falls into being truly a step above the rest? Anyone you consider in the genius category?
