A Tiny Desk I never expected. Juvie still has it in his late 40s. Fun set with the brass and a fresh take on the classics. Guest appearance with Mannie Fresh and Trombone Shorty.

YouTube - Tiny Desk

ETA: Listened to the set 3 times and it is great. My favorite Tiny Desk set with Mac Miller (RIP) as a close second.

I would, say after 15 seconds in, that could have won an award for appropriate titles.

We truly were at the height of race relations in this country in the 1990s, as evidenced by the warm-and-fuzzies you can't help but get by watching this stuff.

That was fun, they sounded great. First encore in tiny desk history. "Turk wants to punch me in the face right now"

Just watched, epic set

Both Juvy and Mannie are all-time underrated rappers, both can absolutely still spit it

There was a rapper out of NOLA in the early 90’s that went by Ruthless Juvenile. Was he a different performer or are they one in the same?

I told someone yesterday that this was inching on Mac Miller as the best Tiny Desk I've seen. Two different moods and this was was definitely unexpected.

I'm your typical random 49 yr. old white dude. Clicked on that link thinking I'd spend 10 seconds on it. Blew my mind. Absolutely loved it.

I'm all about 80's thru early 90's for my rap/hip hop interests. This was the best I've seen in yeeeears.

They truly looked like they were having fun. Would have been loved to have seen it live.

that was ruthless juveniles, plural. It was a group. Juvenile was part of cash money records. baby, mannie fresh, lil wayne, etc.. Hot boyz, big tymers...

Yoooou dont, want to frick, with meeee…

Didn’t even know what a tiny desk concert was but did have a 6er of Juvie Juice as soon as it hit the Rouse’s shelves last week. It’s ok, definitely not as good as this tiny desk set.

The music was nice

I skipped to about five minutes in and got hit with about three straight ni**as

Rap is terrible

Also Alvin Ford and the great Jon Batiste! Awesome to see all of them together.

Legit

I loved how he finished Hot Boyz when they stopped the song when it got to the crude part.
