Is there anyone who DOESN'T think Neil Peart is the best drummer of all time?

while he's a great drummer, he's very overrated by rush fans.

You are SO wrong. He's not over-rated, it's that he is the drummer for RUSH, and his BOMBAST is perfect for Rush, and they have mass appeal and thus he gets all the drum worship. I have no doubt he'd have wicked jazz chops if he wanted . He's not overrated, it's just that so many are UNDERRATED.
Steve Gadd for instance, having spent the last week obsessively listening to Steely Dan's Aja.
My personal favorite was always Rod Morgenstein, as I was a huge Dixie/Dregs fan. And Keith Moon's fills are so far over my head I can't even go there.

look, peart is a great drummer for a niche prog rock band.
he's even stated that the fans overrate him, putting him on some god like pedestal.
as far as rock goes... bonham,
everyone should go watch a zep youtube clip when bonham goes into his solo and brings the groove back with the band. he had such great instinct and feel... incredible.
