Imagine Dragons - Thunder

I agree ten-fold. My wife and I took a drive to North Louisiana earlier this year. It marked our first road trip without the kids in ages; we were accustomed to listening to Disney soundtracks with them and entirely lost touch with each other's tastes in current music.

She tells me she's made a playlist for our trip and plugs her phone into the dash. It's Imagine Dragons, and lots of it. I kept it together and hid my disdain, but boy howdy that was a long four hours.

The scary thing is they've got worse songs than "Thunder."

Oh hell no.

When I drive my family around, especially long trips, we have what I call the "compromise" playlist. This is where I pick music I like that they can tolerate.

None of the radio trash they like, none of the heavy metal I like. We usually settle on something like Steven Wilson, Tame Impala (kids love this stuff), Andrew Bird, When The Word Was Sound, or old rock n roll.

I'll drive us off a cliff if I have to listen to trash for hours. lol

I can stomach a lot of shitty songs for 1 playthrough, some of the ones I can't:

"Two Tickets to Paradise" and "Baby Hold On" by Eddie Money

"Bitch" by Meredith Brooks

"Treasure", "Locked out of Heaven", "Gorilla" by Bruno Mars

Literally any song by Mötley Crüe.

Just their version, or do you not like the song at all?
