There's a place I know about where the dirt road runs out And we can try out the four-wheel drive Come on now what do you say Girl, I can hardly wait to get a little mud on the tires.

It sure seems like it to me.

I wonder if “I’d like to check you for tics” really means he wants to have sexual relations.

He’s so excited the bank finally came through approving the loan. Like damn man, sounds like you couldn’t really afford the payments ... it’ll be repo’d in 2 years probably

He's pretty talented, I think if was going to write a song like that, it would be more like " You Got Mud On My Turtle Myrtle".
" You always been miss reliable-the three of us in my convertible-but you got mud on my turtle Myrtle"

What is 4-wheel drive a metaphor for?

You might work in:

Putting it in low range (maybe somehow engaging and gear).

Her transfer case.

As well as four in the floor.

Then maybe throw in fleet side, step side, and wide bed.

And (if tactful) you might try finishing it with a hosing off.

Rod Stewart "Tonight's the Night".

Is it about a man dating a French woman and finally hits the 3-5 date rule gets to seal the deal?

OR!!!!!!!!

Is the main character in the lyric a rapist, who has captured a French woman he has been stalking and has her captive in his home, and has drugged her, and is now preparing to rape her??

Discuss??

I agree. Almost everything since his greatest hits cd he put out in 2010 hasn’t been that memorable.

And 'Back Door Man' isn't... although it could be.

David Allen Coe's Frick Anita Bryant is about back door sax. Paisley's song is about selling records to people who enjoy pop country muzic.

Nothing to lose off of KISS’ first album is definitely about mud riding.
