It’s not your fault that you were born too late.
Blame it all on your roots…

Country hasn't been country in a looong time. Just a bunch of punk hipsters singing about drinking beer and driving trucks.

If we're talking true pinnacle for the genre, that was way back when you had people like Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings, George Jones and Merle Haggard at the tops of their game.

No. That’s barely even country

Justin Moore, Jon Pardi, CoJo, Chris Stapleton, Jade Eagleson, and Carly Pearce among a couple others are trying to save country, but I just don’t think it’s enough.

FGL was the beginning of the end of country music
I’d argue that the decline began way before that. I’d put the timeline around Garth (and I love Garth Brooks’ music and performance).

You may be right. That’s around the time Dwight and guitarist Pete Anderson parted ways.

Cody Johnson is putting out some greatness, some of the John Pardi stuff is great too.

We like to country swing dance, so some of the poppy stuff isn’t terrible if we’re dancing. But to listen to it outside the country dancing scene just doesn’t work much for me.

Some of y’all need to relax
I mean it’s a feeling alright Saturday night and that’s how we do it round here. Yeah that’s how we do it round here
But yeah for real they blow
I think everything after Brad Paisley basically spelled the end of country music

You and Babytac have terrible opinions or great trolls.
I haven't come to a conclusion.

Florida Georgia line is garbage. I even saw them in concert because a friend said “dude their so much better in concert you’ll understand once you see them.” Saw them, they were worse than studio.

If you think FGL is the best country music has to offer then I don’t trust your music judgment
