Wait you really think Jack Bruce was a better bassist than Clapton was a guitarist? I'll listen to an argument that Ginger was a better drummer, but let's not be silly.

Clapton is one of those artists I have gotten super sick of over my lifetime. I do agree that he is overrated.

I'm not sure how anyone could say he's overrated as a guitarist, at least when considering his work from The Yardbirds through Derek and the Dominoes. As a songwriter and vocalist after that? Absolutely.

That blues album, From the Cradle, he put out in the early 90's is probably the best of his solo career. Not surprisingly, it's all cover songs.
