Yes, my taste in music has really gotten more and more aggressive. I guess I'm going through the "get off my lawn" stage.

It doesn't have to get softer to be classified as more seasoned or higher quality

I never like "Ozzy" (the band) per se, and I never really got into Black Sabbath (before Ozzy went solo) in my youth. But now I love Black Sabbath like a fine wine.

So you love the stuff that stood the test of time. I think that's what you're saying.

I always loved Steely Dan. Still do.

I never liked Iron Maiden, Kiss, Scorpions, and still don't.

I think if we're honest, we don't pick the great music, it picks us.

For some reason we're not supposed to say we liked U2. But I love U2. Thank God for U2 helping us out of the 90's.

I hang my hat on 90's alternative btw.

I grew up just loving hard rock and some metal. As I've gotten older I really like some pop music. Older pop music from the 80's and some 90's. I don't like punk, jazz, and really vintage sounding music. I love 80's music the most right now. It just sounds so good. Love me some gated reverb drums, Moogs, and Oberheims. Such wonderful sounds that make me happy.

I'm 61 and have a wide range of music that I listen to. Growing up in the 60's & 70's I was very into what is now the classic rock. In the 70's I migrated to the southern rock sound and old country music. Today I go between those genre's and Motown sound.

My playlist are very diverse, one day I might be listening to Texas country music, the next British Invasion period stuff. Earlier this year the wife and I went to a Parker McCollum concert on Friday night and a Chicago concert the next night.....enjoyed them both. Going to Earth Wind & Fire next month as well as Jason Aldean then Chicago again in October.

All I listened too growing up was 80's hair bands and metal.

When the 90's came around, I couldn't stand any of those grunge bands or emo music bands. I hated them all.

Fast forward to 2022...

Now I can and will listen to just about anything but country music and rap.
