Has anyone ever done one of those music cruises?

My social media feed is deluged with them.

Seems every band is in on one.

Seems like it would be miserable.

Have you experienced a cruise line's normal in-house entertainment?

This just seems like a music festival that you can’t leave.

My brother has been doing them for 10 years. He started out doing the Delbert McClinton cruise but does another one now. He was on the one last year that Mojo Nixon died on.

Well that had to have made things weird.

He said it put a damper on things but there were impromptu memorial shows with other artists doing Mojo covers, if that's possible.

Every so often I'm the Fat Man in the Bathtub. That as close to a music cruise I'm gonna get.

I have not but I would imagine it’s better than a regular cruise. You already have something in common with the other passengers being fans of the bands.

The best entertainment on my one cruise was talent show night, where the passengers performed.

theres zero chance of getting me on a cruise ship, but this (for example) looks like it was a lot of fun

A friend of mine was a regular on shiprocked for years. He speaks really well of the people and experience.

I've had friends do some of the rock ones.

They've said they are good and bad, but overall worth it.

The best part for them was just hanging out with the band members because they can't leave either.

That Jam Cruise lineup looks like it could be the same from 2005.

How come of those bands make enough of a living to keep it going for 20 yrs I will never know.

I personally wouldn’t go because I don’t like cruises, but I’ve known many people that have gone and said they are a blast

It’s pretty much people all around your age and the artists are just hanging out at the pool like you

My buddy went to this last month and already booked next year
