Me too.....will be the 3rd time seeing Slash/Myles. The show and set list a few months ago at the HOB was great. Actually love the new music and could do without some of the GNR oldies, but I realize many people are there just for the GNR. Don't get me wrong, Myles does justice (actually might be better than axl on some of the oldies...don't crucify me). I just like the new music, because, well I guess.....it's new and fresh!

Yes indeed. Slash and Myles are legit and I can't freaking wait to see them in 12 days. World on Fire is such a killer album.

Too late even if they do. Axl is a mess. Slash, though, must be tired of touring in places like Marksville and Fargo.

They could always enquire if Tommy Lee would be interested in sitting behind the skins for this tour. He will subbing himself out very soon once his Crue gig ends in Jan.

Probably just gonna be Duff, Slash, Axl...and will get Sorum and maybe Gilby Clarke or one of the guys from Axl's band

I believe this but I think Sorum isn't a big Axl fan and vice versa. I also think it'll be one of Axl's guys (Bumblefoot, Chickenfoot, Bucket of Chicken Head, Headfoot) instead of Gilby as I believe he was first one to go after the Spaghetti Incident album. If all of this is true, Axl will F it up before it becomes a reality.

Don't you think Axl would keep Dizzy? He was with them for the Illusion albums and is still with them currently.

Personally I holding out hope that Tommy will Join Mick Marrs and John Carobi on there planned collaboration after the Crue tour is finally finished.

That 1995 Motley Crue album Hooligans Holidays was one of there best and showed what kind of music the Crue could actually produce with a real singer singing on vocals.

It doesn't offend me or anything, but I don't have much interest in a reunion. Saw 'em the first time around, saw Velvet Revolver, even saw Snake Pit. But if they can show up on a stage together, it would be nice just to bury the hachet... and not between Axl's shoulder blades.

It was a moment in time, and that moment is gone. Go listen to Appetite again instead.

This is my feeling as well. Have seen Axl and his boys in concert on television the last couple of years.....not something I'd pay to see live. He's a shell of himself.

I think he sticks around. He knows the rest of them and he's been a constant. Guess he's been a good trooper!

If all of this comes to pass and it is a massive tour or high dollar, Axl has to do his part. I heard that at a Dallas show a couple of years ago, he took oxygen breaks on the stage wings. He's gotta get in somewhat shape and keep the voice as good as he can.

I wouldn't pay to see Axl Rose as a lounge act at this point. He should be doing those nostalgia shows that PBS broadcasts of has beens from the 50's, 60's and 70's.

I can only hope that last night's setlist stays the same for the Marksville show. It's similar to the HOB show in New Orleans a few months back but has a couple of added songs. Here's last night's list:

You're a Lie
Nightrain (Guns N’ Roses cover)
Avalon
Halo
Back from Cali (Slash cover)
Wicked Stone
You Could Be Mine (Guns N’ Roses cover)
Civil War(Guns N’ Roses cover) (Tour debut)
Doctor Alibi (Slash cover) (Todd Kerns on lead vocals)
Welcome to the Jungle (Guns N’ Roses cover) (Todd Kerns on lead vocals)
Starlight (Slash cover)
Beneath the Savage Sun
The Dissident
Rocket Queen(Guns N’ Roses cover)
Bent to Fly
World on Fire
Anastasia
Sweet Child O' Mine
(Guns N’ Roses cover)
Slither (Velvet Revolver cover)
Encore:
Paradise City (Guns N’ Roses cover)

That's been the setlist so far during their fall tour that started Friday night. The only difference is they're rotating the fifth song. First it was Double Talkin' Jive, then Mr. Brownstone and last night was Civil War. I'm curious to see if they keep changing it.

I would rather take a bullet than listen to Myles Kennedy sing.

At least 15 years too late. I just don't care any more. Anything they ever manage to do will not top Appetite. Nobody will buy the album, a tour would probably be huge but they will just be a nostalgia act.
