Are they the biggest band like this? That not one of the main members is considered a top 10/20/50 of their own discipline?
Cliff died too young.

Paul would be a #1 pick in a fantasy style draft for most folks. If you were starting a hypothetical band from scratch, he would provide so much value you couldn't pick anyone else if he was available.
A legendary songwriter. A great vocalist and bass player. Very competent on piano and lead guitar. Can even play drums and a little trumpet. The only other guy in the conversation would be Prince.
Everything a core rock band needs to play, he could play it - after writing it first.

James Hetfield is arguably the best Guitarists/Lead Vocal and song writer in a long while.
Is and will be a f'ing Legend.

Little Feat. There were some outstanding musicians in that group. Lowell George was top notch.

Yes
...and both John and George were fantastic players.
Probably not top 10, but John was a fantastic rhythm player.
George also became better and better as time went on.

The Heartbreakers behind Tom Petty are an amazing group of musicians. They are total pros. Mike Campbell isn't a household name as a lead guitarist, and Ben Tench plays about 6 different types of keys during a concert. Most people recognize Petty as a top vocalist, but his band is as good as it gets.

Yep, Mike Campbell is amazing.

Prince and the Revolution? Rolling Stone left him off the 100 greatest guitarists of all time and then he melted everyone's face that year at the rock and roll hall of fame ceremony with arguably the greatest guitar solo of all time. And his guitar STILL hasn't landed from after the performance.

People are ignoring the bold part above. Many of the artists mentioned were brilliant song writers. The better choice would be the Taylor Swift, The Weekend, Bad Bunny, Sabrina Carpenter, Pit Bull, etc.
