Saw both in concert. Both are amazing.
Strait will damn near leave ya in tears after the show and Garth just puts on a hell of a party. I mean unreal energy.
Two performers I am glad I got to see play live.

My mom loves George Strait and he's the only concert she still goes too when he tours. She loved her some old school Kenny Roger's in the Gambler days also.

Strait, hands down for musical talent/voice.
Brooks, hands down for entertainment.
I worked for a couple country music stations and Strait wasn't generous of his time with fans. And I hate to say that bc I have loved his music for 4 solid decades.

Brooks is a clown act in his 1 ring circus. If running around shouting and flying from a cable over the crowd is what you call country music you need to be castrated. He was the beginning of decline in country Muzak.
