To everyone that says Garth. Put on the Garth Channel on XM for a little while and listen to the dumbass music that Garth listens to and then listen to his dumbass "whisper voice" when he tells stories about himself and his songs. He's an artsy/fartsy wanna be country singer.

Bugs the crap out of me. He did it for that whole A&E special. And I enjoy Garth. His first 3 albums were solid to great country albums. He got so huge so quickly that he lost his shite, examples are the whisper voice, retiring, and Chris Gaines.
If George Strait is country Led Zepplin, then Garth isAerosmith. A damned good band, but no. Just no.

Gosh I suffered through his phony baloney whisper voice on the recent special he did. Goodness why so dramatic. Just be yourself dude. We want authentic people. There's quite enough BS around already!
