Please tell me this chart doesn't show Miley Cyrus having more vocal range than Aretha Franklin? Please tell me I'm too dumb to correctly read the data. Of course just because you have the vocal range, than certainly doesn't mean you know how to use it.

That's definitely what it's saying.

That's certainly true.

Christina Aguilera is the #2 female on that list, and I hate her. Although it's more so because she's such an obnoxious bitch on The Voice.

To be honest with you, there are very few female singers I like at all.

Off the top of my head I can only think of a few:
Tanya Tucker
Suzy Boggus
Sarah Evans
and sometimes Dolly Parton

Never was a Chrissie Hynde fan.

I hope this is not considered singing, but what ever Yoko did. Kill it with fire.

I know it's a one hit wonder but that "Perry"? chick from Four Non Blondes drives me up the wall.

If you would ask me what singer had the greatest range, I may say Mariah Carey, I wouldn't say Axl Rose, that's interesting.

How did Jim Morrison even rank that high? I'm a Doors fan but he sang low. That's it. No range that would make you say "Damn!"

Most of today's. The baby mama voice thing; the wailing crescendos; the complete ignorance of what makes a voice sexy ... this and more.

All the "oversingers." Houston, Carey, Aguilera, Adele, etc. I don't like when men sing that way either.

The fact that her overdramatic slaughter of Bobby McGee is probably Kris Kristofferson's most famous work makes me sad.

I pretty much can't stand any of them. I mean I can appreciate talent but I've never rolled around anytime in my life listening to any female singer except for Gwen with No Doubt.

I would happily take the punishment/jail time for the chance to punch Miranda Lambert in the nose.

Damn there are some unworthy candidates listed here.

Female singers that I don't like even though they may have talent include Loretta Lynn, Debbie Gibson and the aforementioned Courtney Love (not much talent with her). The 4 non blondes chick was also terrible but they were a one hit wonder.
