I think they mean performed by Stevie as a solo artist, not just penned by him and peformed within a group.

It really doesn't make sense to discuss Winwood without considering his work in The Spencer Davis Group, Blind Faith and Traffic.

traffic was always me favorite winwood band.
blind faith is awesome, but it was more of a one off super group. traffics output far exceeds that of bf.
