I don't think "solely" matters. I think the idea is any song he had a part in performing. It seems any song he performs, he has a way of making "his" anyway. Take, for example, my suggestion of "Them Changes." Originally a Buddy Miles song, Stevie's voice makes you think it was his all along.

Stevie Winwood is one of the most amazing songwriters, singers, guitarist and keyboard players alive- he can do it all!! Impossible to pick a favorite...what a history! Spencer Davis Group (joined at 13!!), Traffic, Blind Faith, Ginger Baker's Air Force, solo material, etc...
