It's brilliant. I never tire of that album (minus Money which I don't care for)

I'm going to surprise myself here and say "Shine On You Crazy Diamond". It's a song that at one time I didn't even care for all that much. But every time I listen to it, I hear something new. After that probably Echoes, Time and Dogs.

Alan Parsons (sound engineer for DSOTM and Abbey Road, amongst other things) comes into my work sometimes, and I always want to ask him about DSOTM but I guess there's some residual angst between him and the group, so I hold off.

my favorite is Wish You Were Here.

Same. That intro gets me.

I just ordered Wish You Were Here and The Wall on vinyl.

I've been thinking about giving I Robot a spin. Haven't listened to that in forever.

Eclipse...right now, but like others have mentioned, it changes.

Eclipse is prophetic though.

Time, first got into Floyd my senior year in high school, 1985-86. The song and it lyrics literally changed my life as I made a decision right then to not waste my life, kicking around in my home town, waiting for someone or something to show me the way. fricking brilliant song writing.

This is an example of what makes Floyd so legendary. The music MAKES you think.

Yeah, Time may be the perfect song. It's the most introspective song I've ever heard.

Changes daily for me as well, but I think one of the best transitions in rock is Have a Cigar into WYWH. Roy harpers vocals on the former has to be one of the best cameos of all time.

I've always kinda liked PF, but rarely listened to the songs all the way through. For some reason, I became more interested in them this year, and have been watching documentaries and reading a lot about the band. I am not even close to picking a favorite song. I do find myself listening to Time and Breathe a lot. I total don't get Animals, yet.

So hard for me to pick and it does change for me. Being such a fan for so long, picking just one may be impossible..

Echoes
Shine on you Crazy Diamond
Dogs
Comfortably Numb
High Hopes / Coming back to life

Sorrow probably being the most underrated Floyd song of all time. Best live song

Definitely. Speak to me / breathe is probably my favorite as I've had some moments with that intro in an altered state of mind that have stuck with me over the years.

Hard to say for certain though, that album is just front to back perfect. Any Colour You like, Brain Damage (probably second favorite), Us and Them, Time as discussed above, etc.

One not mentioned yet worthy of consideration is Welcome to the Machine
