Pearl Jam Ten

The anthem to my first college years. They are still relevant as a band.

Like Led Zepplin IV all the songs are cliche now but a couple but it was great,

Soundgarden-Superunknown

The whole album is my jam. FWIW, "Fell On Black Days" is one my favorite songs of all time.

Eh...its obviously between Ten and Nevermind. Can't really pick one.

An underrated one is Temple of the Dog

Temple of the Dog is very underrated.
Anything Soundgarden put out in the 90s is gold.
Pearl Jam - Ten is really good. And so is Nirvana.

I'd throw this one out there.
Stone Temple Pilots - Core

Nirvana, "From the Muddy Banks of the Wiskah". It's the grunge equivalent of the Who's "Live at Leeds."

Falls in with Candlebox, Sponge, and the rest...technically not grunge.

Mine:

1. Alice in Chains - Dirt
2. Soundgarden - Louder Than Love
3. Alice in Chains - Facelift
4. Sonic Youth - Daydream Nation
5. Nirvana - Nevermind
6. Soundgarden - badmotorfinger
7. Pearl Jam - Ten
8. Alice in Chains - Jar of Flies
9. The Melvins - Houdini
10. Mother Love Bone - Apple

And if we are including Smashing Pumpkins, even though I never thought they were grunge (hard to classify, but they do have elements of)....put Siamese Dream at 1b with Alice in Chains "Dirt" for me.

That's my line of thinking too. I never considered Smashing Pumpkins, Bush(really?) or STP as grunge. Sure they have the elements but I only think of Seattle with grunge and Candlebox is IMO.
