Holy shite, how in the hell did I miss him?! Good call on that one!

I remember catching Soulhat at the Varsity ~92 and out comes the band. This old fat man in a muscle shirt comes out and I'm thinking to myself, "this should be good."

How little did I know that old fat man would end up being a monster behind the kit and inspired me for years with my playing.

The complete absence of Matt Greiner here probably means I don't belong on this board.

Finally some love for Morgan! Dude is one of my favorite drummers. Knows how to use the double bass just the right amount, not over killing it like all these "metal" bands. A wizard with the hi hat too.

You should always verify facts before calling anyone a fricktard.

Mike Portnoy was the drummer for Avenged Sevenfold. Unfortunately that is true and not trolling.

You can't be serious.

Portnoy is the drummer for Dream Theater and also served as the drummer for Avenged Sevenfold on their new album after their drummer died

So, when you strip away all the white trash, Portnoy becomes Danny Carey. Got it.
