The Right Thing and Angel Dust are both really good albums yet you never really hear about them.

You hear about Angel Dust plenty but I like The Real Thing more. King for a Day Fool for a Lifetime is great too.

They paved the way for nu-metal. What they did in the early 90s was so much better and heavier than what Korn and Limp Bizkit did. Mike Patton should have shown up at Fred Durst's house in 1999 with some hard dudes and said, "Pay me 40%, motherfricker"

Nah, they're properly rated. Some good, fun tunes, but nothing earth-shattering.

They're not Sonic Youth but they are better than just a few "fun tunes".

Angel Dust may not be in the Top 10 of Best Albums Ever Made but it is certainly in my Top 10 Favorite Albums ever...it does exactly what good music should do: stick with you and make you remember exactly who you were when you first got into it.

The singer was in another band that opened for Tool. I was there. They were terrible and booed off the stage.
He came off as a complete arse.

Must have been Tomahawk. Most of his other projects are just random noise.

Correct. SY sucks. The Real Thing is a very strong album. It's just not underrated. All of this commentary applies to everything except the drumming on War Pigs. That actually did shatter my earth.

What an unfortunate connection because I'm sure the band would hate that. In fact, Your entire post is an insult to Faith No More whether that was your intention or not.

I've enjoyed all of their output, but Introduce Yourself is my favorite. Light years ahead when it came out.

I didn't mean it that way. I'm saying that Korn and Limp Bizkit took what they were doing in mixing metal and hip hop, stripped the weirdness and humor out of it, made it a lot stupider and added tons of sexism.
