All the time. Amazon usually includes mp3 download of the album also.

I miss the inserts inside of a CD case. It's nice having digital downloads but the artwork that used to come with albums seems non-existent.

I have about 500 CD's that I have no use for. Any recommendations on where I can recycle them?

I will take them off your hands.

Yes, I feel like it's important to still have a physical connection with music. I still vinyl shop and order CD's off Amazon. I also buy mp3's. Still, when you own/possess something and are not just buying it from thin air, there is just more of a connection. I plan to teach my son these values and hope he understands.

It's a good thing people like you are around to keep iTunes in business.

This is why if I suddenly had boatloads of cash I would convert my CD collection back to vinyl. When you buy a record from Amazon, or even directly from the artist in some instances, you get a free MP3 download. It's the best of both worlds.

This is 2017. The options aren't steal music or buy a cd. CD's are pretty much an anachronism. There are lots of legal streaming and digital options.

I do have a handful of old cd's in my car thar I listen to, but I don't really buy any new ones anymore.

Then please explain to me how I can legally obtain a lossless version of an album that I like.

I dont buy cds anymore, last cd i bought was over a year ago and it was only because it came with the mp3 copy of a pre-order.

I buy CDs from TX/Red Dirt guys and then rip them so they can go on my flash drive. Last one was Jason Boland - Squelch

If you buy a digital album from an act on Bandcamp.com, you get a choice of different formats to download, including FLAC.

I rip high quality MP3s and FLAC from a CD when I buy it. Usually, I'll listen to the CD for a couple of weeks in my car to get the full enjoyment out of hearing the album in sequence. I especially liked doing that with Sturgil Simpson and Black Mountain last year.

My new car has Sirius, but I can't stand the sound quality. And I don't care for streaming either. I know what I like and have a huge selection to choose from at any given time.
