Does Alanis Morissette know what irony is?

Ironic. Great song, no doubt. But if you examine the lyrics it seems clear that Alanis doesn't really know what irony means.
Let's examine...
Turns 98. Wins the lottery. Dies the next day. This one could maybe pass as irony. You hit it big and never get to enjoy the winnings. Think this is more bad luck than ironic.
Fly in chardonna. Your drink is ruined. Not ironic.
Death row pardon. Arrives too late. I think this is probably the one time she gets it. The very thing that could save your life doesn't make it on time. It's ironic.
Rain on your wedding day. Bad weather. Not ironic.
Free ride. You already paid. Was it supposed to be free? If it's a ride that you normally pay for and afterwards they offer a free ride, that was just bad timing. Maybe ironic.
Good advice that you didn't take. Also know as regret or just being dumb. Not ironic.
Afraid to fly. Kisses kids goodbye. Plane crahses down. Isn't this nice? This one is debatable. Being afraid to fly isn't irrational and is not the opposite of what he feared. More of a cruel twist. Maybe ironic.
Traffic jam when you're already late. It's simple traffic, not irony.
No smoking sign on your cigarette break. Slight inconvenience. Not ironic.
10,000 spoons. All you need is a knife. Why do you have TEN THOUSAND SPOONS in the first place? Your abundance of spoons does not mean you should have a knife. Not ironic.
Meeting the man of your dreams... and his beautiful wife. Sorry, but this is just a married guy you happen to like. Not ironic.
I think we have one clear example of irony. Two to three that are debatable and seven to eight that are not ironic.
The biggest irony is that she writes a song about irony and herself not know what irony is.

I listened to part of a podcast that had mentioned it and had never once thought of that before. Not surprising it's been talked about though seeing as it's pretty glaring once you think about it.
