Do you listen to a playlist, full albums, or a radio service (Pandora, Sirius)?

How do you normally consume your music?

Full albums beginning to end or a playlist you made or one curated from a steaming service?

Or do you roll with a radio type format? (Pandora, Sirius XM)

In the car short trip: Sirius XM;
In the car long trip: book on tape from library;
Monday riding my bike after work: Discover Weekly (from Spotify; this feature worth the monthly fee alone);
Home chilling out: playlists and albums. I have done a playlist of the best songs for every year from 2002-2022 and i'm constantly editing it. Love Spotify suggested playlists too.

As others mentioned, it's somewhat environment and device dependent. Most of my listening these days is via Tidal, but the app in the car makes me do things differently b/c it doesn't seem to support the radio feature. In the car I use LiveXLive (formerly Slacker) in addition to Tidal due to built in subscription.

Home - mix of albums and radio; occasional "jump around" in discovery mode.
Car - similar but prioritize radio (and no jumping around).

Note - I have a large local library on my server (3500+ albums). But if something is available via streaming I play from that b/c the quality on Tidal is CD or better and it gives at least a slight boost to the artist.

I recently bought a set of PreSonus studio reference monitors with bluetooth capability, and I have the premium YouTube subscription to get commercial-free everything. So between the monitors and my phone, I now have a trillion albums and playlists on tap in my shop while I'm working or between appts.

I like albums for old/classic and stuff of my youth. I like playlists if I'm trying to introduce or reintroduce myself to something that's either never crossed or kinda fell off my radar. Playlists last week included Frank Marino and Mahogany Rush, Robin Trower, Parliament and Chic.

Car = XM

Home = YouTube Music where I generally start a session with a song, and the service creates a list. I have upvoted and down voted enough to where I rarely need to skip a song.

playlists the majority of the time, but full albums a large minority. I'd say about a 60-40 split.

It started off rocky when it changed from Google play. Rocky as in frickin terrible. I don't know if they made changes or the time I've spent down voting and requesting certain songs fine tuned it, but it's pretty good now. If I look back at old threads, the complaints I had early on are gone.

Some of everything

Vinyl - full albums mostly, but occasionally just one side
CD - full disk

All CD's ripped to flac on server by genre, from there I'll play single disk, but also random play of entire folder when I just want noise in the background.

Streaming - Qobuz full albums and occasional playlist

Streaming radio - Radio Paradise, SiriusXM only occasionally when I started listening to program or something in the car and want to continue when I get home
