Wow, that's surprising. I was around 7 at the time and remember hearing it every now and then but don't remember it being a massive hit.

yeah even more cringe because its actually the 'disco single' remix of the star wars theme that hit the radio which is absolutely AWFUL. there you have it, ladies & gentlemen.
