Saw Dave Matthews last night in Dallas. As always they are talented musicians but we weren’t very happy with the set list. He didn’t play hardly any of his hits. I mean he didn’t play Ants Marching, Crash into me, Space between, What would you say, Stay, Everyday, Where are you going, or Gravedigger. They know fans came to here the songs they have emotional connections to from the past. To me it’s just a big middle finger to the fans.

I think it's exactly the opposite. Real fans want to hear the deep cuts. I'm not really a DMB fan anymore but when I was, I would have been thrilled with a setlist that didn't include those songs.

Grey Street
Madman's Eyes

You & Me
Can't Stop
Dancing Nancies
Warehouse
Don't Drink the Water
Encore:

We went to The Woodlands and Dallas shows. Very pleased with the sets for both shows.

I’m glad you speak for real fans.

I’d want to and expect to hear many of those songs listed. It’s a fair complaint.

Whatever if you went to a Pearl Jam Concert and they didn’t play Evenflow, Black, Alive, Yellow ledbetter, Daughter, Better man or Dissident you would not be happy. This is the equivalent to that.

Dave Matthew’s is one of those bands I would never just throw on in my truck, but is the best concert I’ve ever been to. Saw them close out hangout 2012 drunk and stoned off my arse not knowing any of their songs besides the radio hits and they blew me away

My favorite part of RHCP at Jazz Fest was seeing them play songs I didn’t know.
I feel bands aren’t obligated to play hits … but you aren’t obligated to buy a ticket either.

It all starts off in the lot when me and my boys are in a circle poundin' Busch Lights while were blastin' Ants Marching from my new Jeep Grand Cherokee.

Ya my Jeep is white and i know it gets dirty easily but frick it, the bitches love that shite.

As we pass around our fat fricking bottle of Absolute Strawberry, we just scope out hotties while we try to ward off all other loser Chads, as the bitches flock to my Jeep like a fricking watering hole in the desert. SLUTS.

Me and my Bro's don't even head in until the 3rd song. As we walk in I stick in a fatty dip of grizzly bear and simultaneously smoke a cig and drink the rest of my warm Busch light.

So were in the show. We start just pushing our way to the front. Lights. Dave. Black dude on drums. Jesus on Saxophone. SLUTS.

By this point every song sounds just the fricking same as the other one. But I know Dave is fuggin killin' it anyways. I grab this girl next to me and we makeout for a solid 15min during Crash Into Me. I finally push that bitch off and low and behold some other slut starts grabbin my arse.

After that I head to the bathroom with my bros and wait in line for 20 mins. We head back to our spot and some jackass is standing there. I'm about to bust his ugly Ted Danson lookin' face in, but before I can he whips out a joint and offers me and my crew to smoke up. He tells me he's there watching his daughter and her friends that are all in high school.

Next thing I know I wake up in my Jeep with my dick hanging out of my zipper. Now this has happened to me before so it doesn't even phase me. I just pop in a sick 03' Dave CD and fricking cruise home.

First time seeing Dave live? He's more jam band style live and plays complety different sets every night...similar to the dead. Was at the woodlands show Friday and it was fantastic.

Who wants to hear the crap that's been played to death on the radio? Not me. I want to hear the good stuff.

It’s 2022 and people are surprised that Dave Matthews Band mixes up their set lists every night.

What a time to be alive.
