It's 2021 and we still can't get Buckingham Nicks on Spotify? We were promised jetpacks damnit!

I don’t think we’ll get it until one of them dies so the other can collect the royalties out of spite. That being said it’s such a masterpiece for a quick 35 minute album. One of the few albums I can listen to without skipping ahead with Long Distance Winner being my favorite track.

Stevie’s sister apparently lived in Birmingham back when they were starting out so they stayed in town and played around the southeast quite a bit from what I understand.

Not gonna lie. Rewatched it. The tension in that band make them so spectacular live. To have seen it in the early 80s...what it must have been.

This is a hell of a performance. And that’s an understatement.

And 15 years later, little had changed in the dynamic between Stevie and Lindsey - just looks like they had gotten older and backed off the cocaine a bit - ETA: I didn't realize Silver Springs from The Dance was already posted.

Christine McVie always seems to get a pass, but she was banging the lighting director, "You make loving fun" indeed, while lying to John about it ("Oh, darling, it's a song about the dog.")

In very short order, Nicks dated Mick Fleetwood, Don Henley, J.D. Souther, Jimmy Iovine, all of whom she had variously described as her soulmate or "love of her life" at various points in her music or in public statements.

Blame it on her "Wild Heart" I suppose (and probably the cocaine)

Silver Springs

In many ways, they do seem to be soulmates even if they can't be together. They were very young when they got together and the passion, both good and bad, that fueled their relationship forged a deep connection.

One of my favorites of theirs, that was a solid "reunion" show.

I'll give Christine a little bit of a pass. Have you ever seen an interview with John McVie? He is like a real life Nigel Tufnel.

He was pretty bad in the Rumours show. He did seem to regret how he acted though.

They were like oil and water, there is concert video from the 1990s where they can’t keep there hands off each other, and look like they can’t wait to get offstage and go to a hotel room

Probably The Dance concert they did in 1997 at Warner Brothers Studios. While watching it for the first time a couple weeks ago, I kept wondering why in the hell they weren't still together. Did some research afterwards and apparently Stevie Nicks just never wanted to settle down with him or anyone. Hence the song written by LB, Go Your Own Way, which was written about Stevie Nicks. "Packing up, shacking up is all you want to do".

I saw them one time but I cannot remember when or where. What I do remember is they where great and that the drummer put "drum pads" all over his body and did the drum solo out front where he essentially slapped his body to make a great solo. When he touched his crotch a Christmas bell rang!

That video is intense. Her cheeks are red and eyes are blazing.

She sings:

“I'll follow you down til' the sound of my voice will haunt you
Give me just a chance, you'll never get away from the sound of the woman that loves you”

And i swear, they both believe it.

I saw them at the Centroplex about that time and was literally feet from the stage, directly in front of Lindsey Buckingham. I was amazed at his picking style and prowess.

Gotta add Joe Walsh to her soul mates, right?
