Vol. 4 and Master of Reality

Master of Reality is a very close second for me. Into the Void is my favorite Black Sabbath song. Geezer's bass is so good in that song

Paranoid. It is Rat Salad away from being an absolutely perfect metal album.

I would go with Vol 4 or Master of Reality, but I couldn't really argue against Sabbath Bloody Sabbath.

Still the heaviest album I’ve ever heard.

I'm gonna get roasted and I'm not trying to be contrarian or ironically "hip", but I really like "Never Say Die."
It gets panned regularly and the band generally didn't like it (I think due to the circumstances at the time with burnout, addiction issues, and Ozzy teetering between "I quit" and "You're fired"). It's definitely not like the earlier albums, but there's a lot of good stuff there. "Air Dance" is a personal favorite.
I like "Sabbath Bloddy Sabbath" for similar reasons. Sabbath using keyboards and synths? It worked though...thanks to Rick Wakeman. "Spiral Architect" is another favorite that rarely gets played.

No love for those first 2 Dio records? They’re amazing. I always considered those “Sabbath” albums.

Sabotage is my favorite, and their heaviest.
It's the sounds of anger and madness....
