They didn't kick out the 1975 U.S. Open winner. They kicked out their lead singer, Lou Gramm. Also argueably not in their prime.

Four pages and no one thought of Dave Mustaine getting booted from Mettalica

Dicky Betts getting booted by the ABB in 2000 (obviously not in their "prime"
per se) but not the same w/out em IMO.

Saw em play with em the year he was kicked and thought it was an unbelievable show.

Are you implying that Metallica was in their prime before their first album was released

That was a long time coming, dude was getting out of control for a while up until he allegedly got cancer. Wonder what he does now?

Also, Mikey Houser of WSP even though he wasnt really kicked out (died of cancer)

Sam Altman of the Disco Biscuits but he decided to be a dentist

Well he doesn't even know how to spell their name, so you can't really knock him for not knowing their history.

The Eagles- Don Felder

They were a good two decades past their prime when they kicked out Felder.

If you missed last night's Hotel California tour in NO, what a shame..

Because those aging 75 year old geriatrics Henley, Schmidt, Walsh totally rocked. Can still jam and Henley's voice is the same as 50 years ago..just slightly less lungs.

Hemmed in with Steuart Smith's chops, Vince Gill's vocals, and Deacon Frey for his dad's tunes..

Epic Rock Show!

Didn't Farndon die of a heroin overdose?

Also, he was at one time involved with Chrissie Hynde, who dumped him as her Bf, and later from the band.

Coheed and Cambria kicked out bassist Michael Todd after he robbed a pharmacy for drugs with a fake bomb. He then hailed a taxi and tried to go play their gig that night.

Didn't Roger Waters kick Richard Wright out of the band or did he quit?

Wright was voted out, and Gilmour was one of the votes, so it wasn't just Waters. They rehired him as a salaried employee for the Wall shows, but since the shows lost money, he ended up being the only one of the four members who got paid, lol...

They were not in their prime when they kicked out Dave Mustaine. I think it was before Kill 'em All was even released.

WAY past their prime. He was even on 1995's Subhuman Race, which like 40 people bought. (The ballad on there is still good lol)

Guns ‘n Roses - Izzy Stradlin

He quit, but they were trying to demote him which
I don't think that's right.

Creed kicked out the bass player when they were absolutely at their prime because he made fun of Pearl Jam or something.

It's truly amazing how Pearl Jam and anything in its orbit has the capacity to suck the fun and life out of everything. What a dismal band. As mentioned in this thread, they kicked out by far the best member because...he was a dude in his 20s having a good time.

Frank Zappa kicked Lowell George out of the band for doing drugs. It probably worked out for the best for all concerned. It didn’t hurt Frank’s band at all, he always hired talented musicians. And Lowell went on to form a pretty decent band of his own.
