Their first show either gets cancelled or starts 2.5 hours late. That's the only way this can go.

Does that mean they're now lifting their alcohol ban at their shows? Because axl ain't kicking the sauce

ACDC should consider hanging it up and riding into the sunset leaving their legacy in tact--but that is just my opinion.

So what does this mean for the GNR tour that just started?

I'd say it only lasts as long as the end of the current tour.

Angus Young was a surprise guest at their show last night. They performed Whole Lotta Rosie and Riff Raff

Posted the same thing a couple of weeks ago. Just hang it up and let your legacy speak for itself. Axl Rose in no way needs to be associated with AC/DC. GnR and AC/DC were and are two of my favorite bands and are two of the greatest of all time. But this is just wrong on many levels.

I don't understand all the hand wringing over this. Axl is a good fit for what they needed in a frontman to finish out the tour

From last night when Angus joined them onstage.

Riff Raff

Whole Lotta Rosie

I have to admit, Axl seems to have gotten himself back in form for these new GnR shows. They look and sound great.

I can understand Axl Rose wanting to do something different. All the musicians I know love playing covers of good songs. AC/DC has enough good songs that it could be satisfying for Axl to perform them, and that doesn't even take into considerartion the likely money involved.
