Attempting to get into Classic Rock - Where do I start?

I'm a 22 year old kid. I like some Queen songs (not all of them) and some of the mega famous classics, but beyond that, I know nothing. I've never explored the genre any deeper than that.
Where do I start?

The Allman Brothers and the Eagles. Just find some Best Of compilations and go from there.

Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin. You'll want to have some pot handy.

What music do you like? It may help to know where you are coming from.

If you literally have no exposure just put it on the default classic rock station in your town. It probbaly has 'river', 'eagle', 'wolf', or something else in the title. You will get a lifetime's worth of aerosmith, queen, journey, guns n roses, tom petty, etc in about 2 weeks. If you hear a song you like, shazaam it for the artist then start youtubing other stuff. 95% of the stuff they regurgitate incessantly on those stations is garbage. But it's a good starting point anyway.

What do you consider classic rock. I remember bands coming out in MTVwith new music in the 90s that are on classic rock stations.
Lynyrd Skynyrd
Led Zeppelin
Creedance Clearwater Revival
Guns and Roses
Stevie Ray Vaughn
Pink Floyd

I'm pretty diverse there. It's probably easier to list what I don't like. I like folk stuff, jazz, some young people R&B stuff like Khalid, old school country (not 90's country though), I enjoy some softer rock like some Fleetwood Mac songs or "Fast Car" by Tracy Chapman.
All of that to say I'm open to just about any sound/style, although I've never particularly liked screamo/metal stuff. I like to hear and understand most of the lyrics.
