Also, cant imagine the cluster it will be when people are trying to park for the 1030 while the 7pm crowd is leaving.
The parking plan at the Dome will be to park everyone for the first show in the garages on poydras and then open the front garages for the 2nd show. That way when people are leaving, they can go straight out to poydras instead of crossing pedestrian traffic.

Tonight Garth came on at 810 and went off at 1025. From what I have heard, there will be no opener tonight so the show should run from 7 to around 915 - 930 depending on if he gets on stage exactly at 7.

That's gotta be the only way he gets a full show in for the early concert. There's no way he could do it with an opening act.

First song of the first encore he played the Aerosmith song "Fever"

That song is on the Fresh Horses cd. I think people are asking about songs like Amarillo By Morning, Piano Man and I Don't Need No Rocking Chair. He's covered those at previous concerts.

No covers last night aside from what was mentioned. He had 2 or 3 new songs and the rest was his old stuff.

Nope no covers tonight at the 7 show. It was an amazing show! You can tell he truly loves performing and feeds off the crowd so much.

Pretty pathetic this many people go see a country hack in a city with infinitely superior live music offerings.

Damn man, you're so edgy. It's so terrible for people to go and enjoy things they actually like.

No covers at the 700 pm show last night. Only song I was expecting that he didn't sing was If Tomorrow Never Comes. But unbelievable concert.

Dude, the same backlash you give bro-country, is the same shite people were saying about that brand of pop country back in his hey day... and was a lot of the reason alt. country's popularity rose in parallel... it was seen as a bastion of country music, which was the antithesis of his "act" at the time...

I mean this is the same a-hole that created a "rock n roll persona".. Chris Gaines
