I like all types of music, old and new.

I can't stand Neil.

I can't put my finger on it. I don't know why.

Am I the only one?

Nah. I dig his stuff, but I know he hates me as well as others who do not think like he does politically. He has said so quite often.

But that's OK. He's a Canuck so he can't vote.

I respect his music but think he's a docuhebag.

He didn't used to like the South or Southerners but he has probably come around on that.....Ronnie Van Zandt let him know whats up and put him in his place for all eternity.

I'm a huge Neil Young fan, though I understand why people don't like him to an extent. Nasally voice? Totally. It's an acquired taste. Not liking him because he implored the south to not be a bunch of racist fricks? I don't see the problem. But I could do without his politics from around 2000 onward, mainly because the music just isn't good.

Hes good. I love what he did with CrazyHorse.

But would pay to watch Ted Nugent beat his arse.

The Neil Young-Ronnie Van Zandt feud got way blown out of proportion. Apparently, they had a mutual admiration society. Van Zandt regularly wore Neil Young T-shirts in public. And Neil Young said that "Sweet Home Alabama" is a much better tune than "Southern Man". And he tried to give Lynyrd Skynyrd songs like "Powderfinger" and "Sedan Delivery" because they reminded him of Buffalo Springfield.

I don’t like his politics but enjoy his music. Needle and the Damage Done is a great song. I like his simplistic guitar play.

Seems like a guy who came up with 8-10 good songs, a cart load of crap and was smart enough to hang around for decades living off the 60’s.
