I give zero shits about the politics of the musicians I enjoy, that doesn't factor in here.
And it isn't just the nasally voice.
It's the chords, the songs, the instrumentation, all of it, there's absolutely nothing I enjoy about Neil Young's music.
I could almost say the same about Dylan, but there are actually a few Dylan songs I like.
I can't say the same for Neil.
Alot of people have "guilty pleasures" and admit to loving artists that they shouldn't.
Neil Young is like a "guilty hate". I know I'm supposed to like him, but I just don't.

Politics aside, I cringe listening to him. Nasally whinny voice. The only song I can stomach through is Pocahontas.

He's got some songs that I like. But generally, I'm not a fan. That said, I'll take him and his voice over Robert Dillon any day.

He’s created some great and iconic music, and I like him. Plus, he still puts on a great live show, whether electric or acoustic. Love his Crazy Horse years.
