Any fans of the boss?

Seems to divide opinion but you can’t deny his back catalogue has some great stuff.

Top 3 albums for me would be:

Darkness on the edge of town
The River
Born in the USA

His recent stuff is also very good.
Magic would probably my favourite album of his since the turn of the century.

I have been lucky enough to see him twice with the show at the MetLife stadium being one of my favourite gigs.

Probably, but I don't recall anyone lauding him as a musician.

He's a showman who brings tons of passion to the stage. I'm not even a big fan, but the energy in his music is great.

Weird relationship to Bruce's catalog...some things I love, some things not so much. The River and Darkness are the 2 high water marks for me.

How this song didn't make an album is simply astounding.

I love the Boss but rarely bring him up here.

*see above posts for reason.

That being said, my top three are:

--Born to Run
--The River
--Darkness

Favorite songs are "Thunder Road" (acoustic from the live album being my favorite version) and "Rosalita".

I love Bruce. My favorite would be half the songs, my selections, from The River. Love that album; most of it, at least.

A massive fan and you get the album name wrong? Just kidding.

Born to Run
The River
Greetings from Asbury Park

Saw him at Madison Square Garden after Magic came out, was my first time seeing him and of course as it was an early show in the tour didn't play a lot of the old stuff. Saw him at the end of the tour at MetLife and it was a phenomenal show.

I saw him him twice at the LSU assembly center before he hit the big time....both times it was a very small crowd but a great great concert.
He has always put on a great show but it's sad not to see the BIG MAN with him anymore..my he rest in peace

Agreed. I just don't get it. It amazing how many people think he is a legend. I will never understand what is so great about him.

I like a lot of his stuff but I’m born to run from some of it.

he's the best... The Wild, the Innocent and the E Street Shuffle may be my favorite...

And yes, he is an excellent guitar player... he just turned those duties over to others when he started the e street band...

I don't listen to him regularly, but the two times I saw him live (Tallahassee '84 and Atlanta '00), there's no denying that him & his band brought the heat, definitely 5-star shows...it's like going to a rock and roll revival, which is better than it sounds.

Easily. Bruce is the shite that basic girls say they’re into to try and sound like they listen to good music. I like the Nebraska album tho.
