So, Leto thought he had ownership of a character that had been by a ton of other different actors and he had only portrayed once?

The most amazing thing in the story is he actually thought he had enough clout to even make the demand. I had literally never heard of him before his disastrous turn as Joker. I couldn't pick him out of a line up without the Joker make up on. Does he think his name puts a single arse in a theater seat?
