Leto acting like he has some right to the Joker character when it’s been done, 5+ times and he’s the worst to ever do it 
Heath Ledger in his current state would be a much better joker than what Leto could do.

It’s not like there are a number of bad Joker performances to sort through. Leto’s Joker is the only one without a sizable fan base. The rest are popular, including Romero.

Obviously not. But there's tons of former Oscar winners the general public couldn't pick out of a lineup. It's not like Dallas Buyer's Club was some mammoth blockbuster that made an impression.

The most amazing thing in the story is he actually thought he had enough clout to even make the demand. I had literally never heard of him before his disastrous turn as Joker.
