I'm out
Just ordered an antenna for $30 and I'll get ESPN+ during the Fall/Spring. It was easy to justify the other channels when it was like $50 a month, but I really don't need anything but sports as far as live TV goes

I've had YTTV since it was $35 and really over the past couple of years I've noticed I just don't watch anything on it anymore.
I'm usually streaming a show elsewhere or watching live games on ESPN because they offer different views (like the spyder cam or stat view), custom PIP, and the quality is usually better.
When is ESPN supposed to offer that stand-alone sports package that doesn't require a separate provider? Now would be the perfect time for them to strike.

DirecTV Stream - $87/month + $10/month for unlimited DVR. Channels not included: MLB Network, NFL Network and Travel Channel.
Not true. All of those stations are on DTVStream. Source: I have the service and it is great.

Buffering is the main issue i'm having with my current provider, Shark. THe service and customer service is great, they have a discord channel and Shark is active in it. Same thing, has a ton of channels, series, etc.
Appreciate the providers.

Live TV buffers for like a second to start but after that its great. I haven't had any issues except with a Saints Game, I had to switch channels because the stream I was watching quit. But there's like 20 channels with each game playing so it's not an issue. All in HD. It's well worth the money.
My gf wanted Fox News before the election and was about to spend 80 a month on cable. I was like hang on. Got 2 iptv subs I paid for the year. No issues with either one. I'll never pay cable, satellite or streaming services again with IPTV being so cheap.

Youtube ads have gotten much worse lately.
I don't pay for premium, and I don't see ads. Granted, I only watch YouTube on devices I can run an ad blocker (laptop with Firefox, Brave on iOS).

Are you able to have the service on unlimited devices? I have an ONN device on 4 TVs, and just pay the one fee.
I pretty much only use it to watch sports and then when i'm working from home, I will turn on a TV series.

At least 5 devices. I have it on my living room and bedroom tv and my phone.

Ah. I got that info from an article. I just checked the directv stream site. It appears MLB and NFL network are standard. The travel channel is not included in the base package. I'll update my post.

Google just jacked the price up another $10 per month. Cord-cutting is the same as cable and satellite.
Until you realize cable and satellite keeping bumping their base prices, then charge you for add-ons. A comparable plan for Cox cable in my area would be $125/month, as a bundled price, and that's before including the add-ons for the box(es), HD channels, DVR... 2 years ago when I was price shopping, that same cable package was $95/month + the add-ons.

ESPN standalone service starts next year I think.

You aren't cord cutting if you have youtube tv.
They are your cable provider.

Xstream
Doing a 3-day trial of Xstream. The first thing I notice is how much more organized the groups are than the one that i'm using. Going to see how it does with NBA, NCAAB and NFL.
How long has it been around?
Would hate to setup all my favorites again though!

Not sure but it works. The 4kiptv I use I'll look it up when I get home. I'm at work in West Texas. It's organized also but has every channel. So I had to go hide all the out of country channels that I don't want. When they update the channel list it unhides everything but I feel it's worth it

While I think everything mentioned is valid… people forget this. Dish/Direct were $120 after I fought with them every year to keep it low. With DVR and 2 rooms.
YouTube is being greedy here but let’s not act like they’re the biggest gougers out there.

In totally unrelated news, I noticed recently that one streamer I use for sports games now has the multi view option to stream
