mother! was a fun ride, but not a horror movie, to me. Not sure what the hell it is.

A Darren Aronofsky film, obvi.

Flawed film. But I still loved Hamill’s performance, loved the visuals on Crait, the new Emperor’s Throne Room scene was amazing. Only part I really hated was the entire Finn/Rose story arc and all the feminist crap.

My least favorite part is the Force projection nonsense. Maybe it'll grow on me, but it ruined a bad arse sequence for Luke.

Given your opinions, you of all people should hate the movie.

So Life is about as far down on your Horror List as your Best movie list?

And Split doesn't even get an HM on Best?

Stepping back a bit to the room, I'm surprised by the general lack of any meation of Logan Lucky here.

Not deep, but fun.

Star Wars is my favorite fandom. My least liked film in the saga is Phantom Menace and I don’t hate it at all.

I guess I just hoped for more. Like I said, maybe it'll grow on me. TFA did.

Among the ones I've seen (there are a lot I have not), my favorites would probably be:

Blade Runner 2049
Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri
Dunkirk
The Big Sick
Wind River

Would it be necessary to have seen the original Blade Runner to enjoy the new one?

i think it's necessary ... i think you'd appreciate the sequel much more, for several reasons ... but it's not crucial to the understanding of the story, no ...

Three Billboards

Heckuva performance by Frances McDormand, and Harrelson and Rockwell were no slouches, either.
