It was okay. Could have been a lot better.

I enjoyed it.
Season 2 about to come out so it’s a good time to get caught up.

In my opinion, no.

I wish I hadn’t have wasted my time.

It unnecessarily got very convoluted and weakened some, but I still enjoyed it. Will watch season 2 for sure. 6.5/10 IMO.

One of those you have to pay attention to.

Interested to see how they frame this season.

Main character jogs through the cemetery for exercise. When he and the villain have a secret meeting where they don't want to be seen together they do it at Tad Gormley Stadium. While I enjoyed seeing some of the local landmarks their inclusion seemed very forced.

I watched the first eight episodes, and never finished it. Was very interested and gave it a chance because it's NOLA and Cranston, but they just took the story in crazy directions. Doubt I'll ever watch the last two episodes.

Watch it. It does take incredible dumb unbelievable turns but it's filmed locally.

The Courtroom is a replica build inside an old Lowe's in Chalmette. I have been in that courtroom.

I was looking forward to it and enjoyed seeing a lot of familiar places that I’ve personally been to and around many times, but I agree with a poster above. It could’ve been much better. I wouldn’t have finished it if it wasn’t filmed in New Orleans. I’m going to try season 2, but hopefully the show improves

I actually think the opposite. I thought it did a great job of showing NOLA geography and dialogue. The gang uses some NOLA slang that is unique to NOLA and the accents aren’t forced caricatures of accents Hollywood thinks we have here.

anyone watched this season?

The ending made it looked like there could be a season 3 since Jimmy is still alive but according to the creators this was the last season

It didn’t really stick the landing, but was good enough. Glad it’s ending. It told a story that was interesting enough, and anything more would just be getting absurd and likely jump the shark.

We just finished the first season today, looking forward for to episode 1 of season 2 tomorrow. We upgraded Paramount+ for the new season of Yellowjackets and Your Honor was a nice surprise.

It was a mediocre ending, but still better than the end of season one. I'm sure we'll watch if they do a third season. It's one of those shows that I can get a lot of work done while it's on.

Better get a third season after that let down of a season 2 finale. I thought the overall season was really entertaining though and probably better than season 1.

yea if they continued a 3rd season it would be just Jimmy fighting his wife and son for power

Desire and Michael wouldn't really figure into that

If they wanted to do a spinoff that followed Big Mo, Lil Mo, and Desire, I would watch that in a heartbeat.
