Ben Linus, Lost
What’s interesting is that Ben Linus wasn’t originally written to be a main villain for the series, but Michael Emerson was so awesome in the role that they adapted their thinking. Damon Lindelof explains it really well in interviews and panels.

You know an actor is good when they create a character you find so despicable and can't wait until they get their due justice.

Good call on him.

One villain was the focus of a cultural event in American episodic TV history. Bears mentioning.

(For those that don't know, that's the one-armed man in The Fugitive.)

I don’t know why, but I never realized how punchable his face is until I did the image search to find that picture.

You should have seen him when he had a story-arc on The Practice back in the 90s.

For many reasons, my all time favorite was Nina Myers in 24. Cold-blooded bitch she was. And just entertaining to watch.

I just started watching Bosch recently (have been binging it and just finished season 6). Fantastic show by the way.

Because of her role as Nina Myers, I spent the entire time during her run on Bosch thinking she was going to be a turncoat-type villain. Couldn't look at her any other way.
