This meat shredder has come in handy shredding pulled pork or chicken for fajitas and chicken salad.

re: I love the 80s
Posted by philtree506 on 11/19/25 at 6:31 pm to LSU6262
When my brother and I would go stay with our dad back in the 80's, we entertained ourselves renting VHS movies at the local, independent movie shop.
Mom was't thrilled that he let us watch PG-13 and R rated action movies and comedies.
My favorites growing up:
Coming to America
Nightmare on Elm Street
Karate Kid I, II, III
Rambo I, II, III
Police Academy 1-5
Die Hard
Back to the Future
Airplane
Fast Times
Romancing the Stone
Beverly Hills Cop 1 and 2
Lethal Weapon 1 and 2
Alan Quatermain
Indiana Jones
Iron Eagle
Anything with Chuck Norris
No Retreat, No Surrender
Major League
Bloodsport
Kickboxer
Superman 2, 3, and 4
Batman
Earnest Goes to Camp
The list could go on and on....

re: Anyone else realize today that their teens and young adults were followers of Charlie Kirk

My 20 YO daughter text her mom and me as news was breaking to inform us Charlie Kirk was shot. My daughter knew much more about him that i thought she did.
She was also the one that told us President Trump was shot just after it happened last year.

Is this alleged “corporation” a true corporation (with stockholders) or a limited liability company(“members” instead of “stockholders”)
Are either registered with the Secretary of State’s office?
Does the company have bylaws or an operating agreement and a list of stockholders/members?
How much $ did the plaintiff buy into the company for?
Whose name is the lease in? Yours or the company’s ?
If the lease is in your name individually, is there a written document showing the hunting club has permission to use the property?

re: Looking for a cabin to book for a week in the mountains, (Ozarks, N Alabama or gatlinburg

I’ve stayed at Hidden Mountain Resorts in Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg area and always enjoyed the high quality cabins they have. Prices were reasonable and it’s relatively close to town.

Buck 303 for the last 35-40 years
My old man always carried and use Buck knives and every time my brother and I went to visit at Christmas and summer visitations, he would always give us one when we went back home.
My favorites were his 301 Stockman and the with plastic handles from the 1980s and 1990s (422, 424 426 I believe)
Even though I don’t need any more knives, if I ever come across an old bucklite for sale that still has a decent blade, I usually buy it and add it to my collection

“ Per the current definition of "Christmas Movie" (written to intentionally exclude films like Die Hard), is this a Christmas movie?
Isn't Christmas more of a time/setting than an active part of the story?
If you removed Christmas from the movie altogether, would the movie really change at all?
*ETA: this is not my theory but it's now ripe to test it.”
Same logic applies to Home Alone…

I’ve rented cabins at Hidden Mountain Resorts a few times. Their properties are away from the hustle and bustle of town and seemed to have decent pricing. Views are nice in the fall.
