This is an almost impossible role to fill. Every actor will be compared to young Harrison Ford. They will have to be charming and roguish and likeable, and fill the shoes of one of the most iconic performances ever.

I can't think of anyone off the top of my head that can do it. I know its cool to hate on him, but Pratt is the closest thing to me, but he's too old.

I can think of young actors I like but I can't think of any that I know would be able to portray that charm and confidence. Although, since it's an origin story so to speak, they could go with someone who is nearly the opposite of the Han we see in IV.

I don't really like the idea regardless. I'm sure it'll make a trillion though.

Man I would hate that. I would want to see him being even more of a dick.

Regardless, I really don't want this. I don't want to know more about Han's backstory. I like him the way he is.

That being said, I'll see it no matter what.

Greatest idea ever if it were rated R or atleast PG13 that didn't pull any punches

But more likely it'll be the Wacky adventures of a 13 year old Han with his teddy bear friend

1. Why is your mouth open and your brow furrowed?

2. Get some sun. Seriously.

3. You shave your chest?

Han Solo isn't 18 or so when Episode VI takes place. He's got to be in his 30s.

So he was old enough to remember the Republic, Jedi, etc etc.

I'm adding the "sexy/worn out from chiseling my body" vibe

I heard Taron Egerton was being looked at. I think he could pull it off the character if not the look well if he could do an American accent.

I guess it'd depend on how young were talking, I gotta imagine it's probably what late teens or early 20s?

Well, from whose behind it, I'm entirely sold. Jesus, what crew they got behind this movie. Can't wait to see it.

Star Wars should have been going in this direction for decades now. Just ridiculous they've wasted the potential of the universe with just the Jedi and the Sith. It's got way more to offer than that.

Hope the next spin-off project they announce is a live action "Knights of the Old Republic".

Yeah, the only two coming to my mind I'm sure could pull it off are Tatum and Pratt, but they're now Harrison's age in the original, so I don't think they can go with them.
