I just wish Kasey would leave Monica. The whole "i cant sleep, been thinking about the tank top bitch" shite made me roll my eyes, just like every other scene shes in.
Monica… This bitch. Wanted to leave the ranch, but got back to the slums of the rez and remembered it was total shite hole, so she makes Kayce go buy a 3000 sq ft house off the Rez. She wants to have her cake and eat it too. No better than the climate change dip shits flying around in PJ’s.

They are leasing the house, FWIW. The rest of your post is spot on.

Couldn’t help it, but also frick Monica.
Agree with most of what’s been said. I think Sheridan is way too distracted with too many projects and the one that got him here is really suffering for it. To add to Mayor of Kingstown (which I’ve now lost interest in), 1883, and 6666, just saw he is writing ANOTHER show for Paramount+ called Kansas City that will have Sylvester Stallone in it and be about the KC mob. I mean realistically how many things can one person write at a time? Clearly Sheridan is over that number.
Love this show, but this season is a real letdown.

Quick question about cattle ranching:
If a millionaire/billionaire owns a shitload of land and raises cattle and hires a bunch of ranch-hands to help raise them for several years, is the money he finally makes back due to selling the cattle to slaughterhouses/meat industry?
If so, does he make more money selling thousands of livestock to slaughterhouses or would he make more money if he slaughtered them himself and then sold the meat?

At that level of ranching, I think the regulations around our food chain make anything but huge commercial conglomerates slaughterhouses not economically viable.
I’m sure there’s a threshold where you can still maintain a small operation (like wild game butchers or small family farms), but I think when you’re up into significant numbers, that segmenting and specializing is probably more cost effective.
But that’s an uneducated guess.

Why'd you lose interest? Just curious. I'm still hooked

The dialog is starting to get to me.
Beth, Rip, and John's interactions now seem to primarily consist of heavy-handed one-liners that have to incorporate some kind of "punch."
They used to have such depth. I really hope they don't become caricatures.

Liked the first episode, but definitely wanted more detail and explanations. Don’t feel like we’ve gotten much of it, but more so sort of a rule of mine - I wasn’t able to watch the last episode Sunday night and quite frankly I don’t feel like I’m dying to see it. That’s more of a me thing than anything else I guess.

Did I miss something with the whole Loyd matter?
IIRC, he and Rip butted heads about handling the cattle vax process, then he’s persona non grata, then attacks Walker, despite strict rule against it, then does it again. I have no idea how things went to shite with him so quickly.
The blonde. It’s all over the blonde.

AND IT'S NOT EVEN ON PARAMOUNT PLUS!!!!!!!!!!
What a bait and switch! Now I have to keep it at least until my kids watch every episode of Big Brother ever.

I bought the season on Amazon Prime for $20 bucks. It’s uploaded at midnight on Sunday.

I think he's referring to Yellowstone not being on there, Mayor is definitely on it. I lost interest after episode 2, just didn't really hook me.
