I’ve been wondering how they got the rights to talk about the 6666 Ranch so much this season, because that is an actual well known & very large ranch... Turns out a group of investors, including Taylor Sheridan, bought it.

Absolutely not. This is a kid who has lived his whole life without boundaries. She went above and beyond with the offer to buy the boots and hat and he wanted more. I’m 100% in agreement with Rip on this one.

Agree.
Even with your own kids you don’t go to the store to get them something they need (boots and hat) and buy the frivolous shirt instead.
You get what you went for and go back later and get the shirt as a present.

I know the sorrel was Metallic Cat. But was that palomino horse Custom Made Gun? He was in some previous episodes as well.

Agreed. Not going to go off on a tangent rant, but the concept of you get what you earn is severely lacking in kids today.

Taylor Sheridan plays a great bad guy, but damn enough with the slow motion shots of himself riding. We get it, you are a real horseman

two episodes down and almost nothing about Kaycee's wife and kid after he kills a guy, but scene after scene of some new random kid that Beth brings into the ranch. then we see them holed up in a bedroom and his kid looks like a lunatic. Monica and Beth are two of the worst written characters on TV. Taylor Sheridan did the same thing on Sons of Anarchy, the female characters were awful there too.

If that’s going to be it’s own spin off I’m honestly looking forward to that more than the 1886 spin-off. I can’t stand Tim McGraw and faith hill. Love Sam Elliot though so it should be worth it.

So true! If you've never see really good cutting horses work, it's a true thing of beauty. Ever since I've been volunteering at the HLSR and walking thru the horse barn to get to my parking, I always stop to watch cattle sorting and other similar competitions. They are just amazing to watch.

She really wasn't abusive. She just got his attention in an old school kind of way. Her line was perfect. It fits with a lot of people and things!

Totally your opinion. Women love them. We loved to hate Jemma. Loved Tara. Adore Beth more than any of them. Monica is exactly what she is supposed to be, the opposite of Beth.

like everyone else said, Beth's line to the woman in the store was great! but, i don't get how the kid got to the point of being spoiled enough already to say " i'm getting it anyway". went in for a hat and boots, acted like a spoiled brat, left with nothing.
how was that idiot at the black jack table smart enough to put anything together? he didn't seem smart enough to put together a 2 piece puzzle.

The cutting horse stuff throws me off.
I’ve never been a horse rider in the cowboy sense. My grandfather always had a couple that he deer hunted off of, but that’s about all I know about horses. I also have a cousin that married into a big Wyoming ranch, that owns a horse being rode by a top 5 in the world steer wrestler, but I don’t shite about that. Just fun to watch.
But I did go to junior college with a bunch of horse folks. I ended up a row crop farmer, they all ended up being cattle farmers. I was basically impartial to it all, but tended to hang out with the crowd that were all into roping and they basically talked all kinds of shite to the smaller group of cutting horse people, so I’m watching this and like what do I do here? Were all my friends from college wrong, and cutting horse people are actually a bunch of cool arse mf’ers or what?
