Naw naw, it's pretty bad. It has no rewatchability to me. So for that alone it was a bad movie. Well that and his invincible van. I imagine if I could have watched it other than that one time in the theatres I could come up with plenty of other terrible things about it. Weird thing is that Tom Cruise for some reason didn't bother me in this movie, which he always seems to do.
With all that being said, it is not even close to being the worst mainstream movie ever.
On a side note, I don't consider straight to DVD movies to be mainstream. Straight to DVD is a whole different monster.
I'll add the new The Day the Earth Stood Still to my list.

Day The Earth for the win. That really was just one huge pile of liberal slanted nonsensical crap.
It is like 4 people wrote the script separately and then a monkey cut and pasted from all 4 scripts.
I love the scene where for no real reason Keanu kills the cop, then for no real reason he heals him seconds after killing him.
Really a horrible movie.
The Evil Government plot borders on retarded. They pretty much already know they can't defeat the alien technology so they still plan to go ahead with some shitty drone attack.
The movie makes no sense. Horrible acting, horrible special effects, horrible script and horrible liberal agenda make this the worst mainstream big budget movie since Battlefield Earth.

Adams Family Values is the only movie I have walked out of. My vote goes to it.
