The clear cut answer here is Margot Kidder in Superman. There's no way Superman would have done the things he did for that crazy ugly woman.
Glenn Close is a good one too, as is Hilary Skank

this is the correct answer. Even as a small child when the movies came out, I wondered why would Superman like her. Terrible casting.

Love intrest/frick buddy/whatever - she was cast to be some sort of romantic interest in the film and she was not even close. If you want her in a true romantic interest role, I present to you The Natural

Agreed. She definitely doesn't meet the standards for the comic book movie crowd, but I never had a problem with Maggie Gyllenhaal in the looks department. I kinda wish Nolan had gone with Amy Adams back when he was first casting Batman Begins. The studio, however, kinda pressured him to cast a known commodity from a popular TV show to lure the teen crowd to the theaters. Hence why we got Katie Holmes instead of Amy Adams. That was back before he had the clout he enjoys today.
