Someone should have told them this before they used them in air to air combat. They weren't shooting spitballs at each other up there.

Also, in 2012 physics is defied numerous times. In any movie that is suppose to be real (meaning non-magic, abide by the laws of physics, etc.) drives me crazy when they break said laws.

Opening scene from "Love and Other Drugs"

Set in 1996, Jake Gyllenhaal is working in an electronics store. He's selling 60" plasma TVs

Did this on purpose. It was a dumb movie that was supposed to be dumb. That's why it's incredibly awesome

"Happy Gilmore" near the beginning Happy hits a slapshot and breaks the glass, then in the next scene the glass is there again.

Hmm, I have a couple of AAF flight manuals, and I see exrta bullet proofing around the coolant system. Actually has redundancies. Looks like it could take some small arms fire.

My favorite plane of that era will always be the twin Mustang.

It's just bad arse, they are going to have one at Airventure this year..

Fluid dynamics boom.

just guessing it's probably a 3" ceramic hole in the toilet to a min. 3" sch 40 pipe outlet and knowing the gpm rate of the pipe.

Doesn't take an Albert Steinberg to figure that out.

Or clear and blue/red the cups were switched. you guys are good!

In Pulp Fiction where Samuel L. Jackson and Travolta are in the apartment and the guy comes out of the bathroom with the huge revolver and opens up on them is a pretty good one. He completely misses and there are bullet holes in the wall behind them.

If you will look, at least one of the holes is already in the wall before he comes out of the bathroom.

In the Matrix, Cypher has to have had another accomplice in order to load himself into the Matrix and meet and inform Smith.

Not necessarily a goof. There is a reason they had the scene where Cypher was at the computer and Neo "startled" him. He was obviously setting up everything for him to meet up with Smith. I see no reason why you cannot set it up on a timer to get you in and out. That is how I took it. I just figured, they wouldn't want to do that because you are trapped in the Matrix until the time runs out.

P-51 Mustang

quote:

As Allied fighters gained air superiority in both the European and Pacific theaters of war, the Mustang was increasing tasked with ground attack chores. In this role it was also successful, although the P-51 was at its best as an air superiority fighter. Its single, liquid-cooled engine made it more succeptible to ground fire than the durable P-47 with its air-cooled radial engine or the twin engine P-38. A single bullet through a vulnerable cooling line could bring a Mustang down with a siezed engine.

Gettysburg, where Martin Sheen is talking to Tom Berenger in cantonment and there is a jet contrail (or two) in the sky.

In braveheart there is a scene when they are running across the battlefield. One second Mel has an Axe, the next, nothing, the next a sword, then back to an axe

I think in the same scene while he is running with his axe, it's wobbly. Obviously a rubber axe. Also, at the end of the Stirling battle, when Mel throws his sword in the ground and says "Alright" there's a couple guys half arse fighting over his shoulder.

Monster's Ball. BBT, PB and HL are wearing Louisiana DOC uniforms but yet every car has a Georgia plate. That's a helluva drive!

Maybe not the worst but c'mon, man!

Not sure you can consider this a goof but this bothered me about the most recent Pirates movie. In the 3rd film at the end, there is a shot of a map of Florida setting up the Fountain of Youth search in the next film. However, in the 4th movie, the terrain where they search for the fountain is heavily mountainous.
